School - Teachers - Faculty - Students

All of our teachers are native Ecuadorians. They have university degrees and are well trained, having years of experience working with students from many different countries.

Luis Mena is a master professor of Spanish and Literature and earned his post-graduate degree in "Teaching Spanish as a Second Language" from Catholic University of Ecuador. He has 16 years of experience as a Spanish professor and is the author of three books on Spanish grammar. His new book, "Español Funcional," is the official textbook of the Academia de Español Guayasamín. Luis is the director of the school.

Ibeth Morales is licensed in Educational Science and has 12 years of experience as a Spanish professor. She and her husband, Luis Mena, have three children: Andrés, David, and Fabián. Ibeth is in charge of the financial administration of the school.

Christian Vinueza. Christian is 20 years old and he  is helping  with different work with the school. He is a stdudent from Universidad Central del Ecuador. Christian enjoys playing futbol, reading, and dancing.

 

 

 

Rita Negrete earned her Masters degree in Spanish and Literature and her Doctorate certificate in Education. A professor of Spanish for 15 years, Rita has previously taught at L´École de Traduction de l´Universitè de Genève and in the Ecuador programs of Ohio State University, The College of Saint Olaf (Minnesota) and the Peace Corps. She speaks French and enjoys reading, listening to music and dancing.

 

 

 

Diego Cóndor earned his Bachelor's Degree in Social Communication from Universidad Salesiana. He has 7 years experience as Spanish teacher. Diego enjoys reading, listening to music, and video making.

 

 

Elizabeth Rosas earned her Masters degree in Spanish and Literature from Universidad Central del Ecuador and her post-graduate degree in "Teaching Spanish as Second Language" from Catholic University of Ecuador. Elizabeth has 12 years of experience as Spanish teacher. She enjoys traveling around Ecuador.

 

 

Daniel Paredes earned his Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics from Catholic University of Ecuador. Daniel has 8 years of experience as a Spanish professor. He enjoys reading and traveling.
